A Grand Marais Wedding

Some dear friends of mine were married on a perfect September day on the shores of Lake Superior.  The reception was held at The North House Folk School in Grand Marais.  The lovely (now) Mrs. Bates has the perfect eye for detail.  We love being involved with detailed weddings!  Even better was being able to attend one as a guest!  Much love to the Bates!

I was privileged to design for this great couple this past October.  Their day was brisk to say the least but the cold weather was made up for with warm hearts...and orchids...and antlers...and feathers...and beer (hops)...and a touch of vintage charm.  The festivities were held at The Nicollet Island Inn and these amazing images were captured by Camelot Photography
